I am Sylvia Piper from Telford, Shropshire, 11 years ago my family and I decided it would be the right time for a family pet, none of the family had any experience of dogs so this was a bit of a learning curve for us all.  We quickly set to work, and after lots of research, decided on a French Bulldog and started the hunt for reputable breeders, not an easy task to say the least.  Eventually we found a breeder and were selected and allowed to pick “Jimmy” a tiger brindle male from the Ageancourt Kennel.

To ensure we developed our knowledge of the breed we joined several breed clubs and we were introduced to many experienced people along the way, learning lots.  Health of the breed has always been at the top of our list and we are Kennel Club Assured Breeders, gaining experience over several litters and now with three generations of the “Heidsieck Kennel” within our home.   

After many years with French Bulldogs we decided to investigate the Lagotto Romagnolo with much research, attending breed club days and shows to best understand the breed.  Our search led us to Slovakia where we found a litter from a small kennel and were privileged to be allowed to select a little white / brown roan girl “Angelus Mei Jazata at Heidsieck” aka “Jaz”. Jaz arrived with us 3 years ago and we are absolutely besotted with her, so we continue with this fabulous healthy breed developing and gaining knowledge along the way.
