Lagotto Romagnolo Association Rally & Obedience Event
When: 22 June 2019
Where: World Horse Welfare Glenda Spooner Farm, Somerton, Somerset, TA11 7LA.
THE LRA is organising its first Open Rally Show, all six levels of Rally will be offered in addition to both Pre-Beginners and Novice Open Obedience.
With plenty to spectate and ‘have a go’ at, I’m sure there’s something for all the family to enjoy. If you’d like to book some training with an expert, we have that option covered with Rachel Bradley. Fifteen minutes slots (for all levels of training) will be available to pre-book with Toller fan and top Rally and Parkour trainer Rachel, and she will also be giving a demonstration of what Parkour is all about. Not to be missed!
I do encourage Lagotto-owners that have tried their hand at training (even in a small way) to try out the Charity Fun Round, to be run by LindsImaey Poole, in aid of Canine Partners For Independence. A great cause and an opportunity to learn more about the signs, ask questions and then HAVE A GO! Why not enter Level 1 (and 2) Rally and/or the Pre-Beginners Obedience? You will get lots of support, and where better to start than at a friendly LRA event?!
Have a look at the Kennel Club page for more information on Rally as well as information on Obedience
Rally is for everyone, regardless of mobility of dog or owner. Basic positions and loose-lead walking are the foundation skills needed, but there is so much more to try out, with cones, jumps and covered distraction articles. Feel free to ask questions to any of the committee members that train their dogs.
I can be found on FaceBook, Messenger, or by email at training@pawsm8.com

Bookings can be made online via the Rally website
