This listing is not a recommendation for any particular breeder and potential Lagotto owners are advised to ask questions, especially about the health statuses. Following the LRA's successful campaign to get the KC to officially recognise the health tests for Lagotto Romagnolo, the LRA Committee has decided that, in future, only those breeders that can demonstrate that they routinely test for certain health conditions will be included in the website Breeders List. This is to ensure the continuing and improving health of Lagotto Romagnolo in the UK and for the benefit of informing potential owners where to buy puppies from responsible breeders.
You may wish to enquire about the relationship of the parents of any puppies, as the mating of very close family members within such a small gene pool is NOT RECOMMENDED and may lead to health and/or behavioural issues.
