This is a 7-minute video clipping Archie.  It demonstrates use of scissors only.  You can see how to clip the head and gives you a general idea of where to cut and how to use scissors and hands when grooming. (Don't worry ... Archie's eye is fine and I must have caught it with the comb!)

1st of 4 videos clipping Gideon.  He was very badly matted and so shearing the entire body and head was our only option.  You will see the use of both clippers and scissors on body and head.
