For similar reasons to hip dysplasia, there is no reason to believe that the Lagotto as a breed is affected by this condition.  However, there is research being undertaken in Europe and for that reason, some UK breeders may choose for their breeding dogs to undergo this test.

Scoring is much more simple, being 0 – 3.
