In working trials, the dogs need to master a 6 foot scale (vertical jump), a 9 foot long jump (horizontal jump) and a 3 foot clear jump. A Lagotto that has been correctly trained and conditioned for this work will have no problem with the demands required to achieve this level of activity,  despite its small to medium size.
