Lagottos at Crufts 2015 ... RESULTSThis year we had Lagotto Romagnolos, Slovakian Wirehaired Pointers and Portuguese Pointers showing under the AV Import Register (Gundog). It was a great day and we ended the classes with a party for ALL the breeds competing. We were blessed to have food and drink from throughout the world brought by the exhibitors - and we celebrated our final time onthe AV Import Register. Congratulations to all Lagotto owners who having qualified for Crufts 2013 made the journey to the NEC and made history for the breed. For the first time Lagotto were able to show at Crufts in the AV Import (Gundog) classes.
In jubilant mood Lagotto Romagnolo were the predominant breed with an impressive number of dogs appearing including multi Champion dogs from Europe. They were judged by Mr Steve Hall, whilst ringside Renee Spores-Willes (the original importer of Lagotto to Sweden and a recognised expert in the breed, chatted to exhibitors).
