The Lagotto Romagnolo Association ran its first Limited Agility Show just for ABC breeds (Anything But Collies) on Saturday 4th October at Ryslip Kennels, Bracknell  which included several Lagottos.   It was limited in entries as well as breeds and, without very much advertising in a short amount of time, over 60 dogs entered.  The show was aimed primarily at new and novice handlers but some higher grades were also incorporated over a variety of heights and courses.  The weather that day wasn’t kind, after weeks of sunshine it was the start of the rain. Those organising the ring got soaked and cold. But despite this, handlers stuck it out to the bitter end and everyone keenly supported each other.   A lot of positive feedback was sent after the show, such as:  “Nicest show I have been to, so calm, quiet and relaxing.  Need many more of these ABC shows.  So friendly.  Dogs loved it. Real gap for this type of show.  Very well run and organised. This is going to be an annual event, so look out for schedules in 2015.
